An Indian Prayer

O' Great Spirit,
Whose voice I hear in the winds;
and whose breath gives life to all
the world, hear me! I am small
and weak, I need your strength
and wisdom.

Let Me Walk In Beauty, and make my eyes ever
behold the red and purple sunset.

Make My Hands respect the things you have
Made and my ears sharp to hear your voice.

Make Me Wise so that I may understand the
things you have taught my people.

Let Me Learn the lessons you have hidden
in every leaf and rock.

I Seek Strength, not to be greater than my
brother, but fight my greatest enemy - myself.

Make Me Always Ready to come to you with
clean hands and straight eyes.

So When Life Fades, as the fading sunset,
my spirit may come to you without shame.

Thank you Oh God for putting this prayer in my path today so that I could share it with others. Father this is a powerful prayer thank you for it and may you bless those who wrote it.

Had to Blog this

There is a verse in Revelation that says, "Write, therefore, what you have seen" (1:19). And following that verse is a powerful description of what God will do in the last days before His Son, the Lord Jesus, comes to take us home. The imagery created by the Apostle John's words captures the powerful vision that he was given by God.

Thanks to the TNC website for these words.

Oh what a good day today has been. Worked my 9-5 and went streight to a Trunk Or Treat for kids at the local Chick-fil-a and gave out candy and talked to our other J-Teamers from TNC. We had some good fellowship and enjoyed seeing all the kids dressed up.

We got home and I fiddled around a bit and watched the tube a little and then decided to see what was happening Kevin's blog today and There He was, Christ himself right there in the words. A quote from that blog:

Here's a quote from Matt Redman's book Facedown:

(Facedown worship) is people so desperate for the increase of Christ that they find themselves decreasing to the ground in an act of reverent submission. When a soul is so captivated by the Almighty, to bend low in true and total surrender seems the only appropriate response.

Thanks Matt for the definition fo "Face Down" I personally cannot wait till Sunday night. I trust and believe that the Lord is going to show up and meet us there.

Thanks Kevin for your blog.

Today has been a good day. But it just got the best it could be! God Showed up! Thanks Kevin, Worship Leader at True North Church True North is getting ready for "Face Down". In other words The Lords Supper.

I haven't been to Face Down, we have only been at TNC for about 8 weeks now. It has been tremendous. I see God every Sunday, sitting on His mighty thrown. Each day I see God too, but on Sundays there is no "FOG" of the daily grind getting in the way.

My wife told me about Kevins blog on Face Down and I was here checking out the Net and it dawned on me to check it out. So I did, kabamm God was there! His blog is about preparing for face down, a daily walk through the preparations and Prayer.

You have got to check it out at I cannot wait until Sunday night, I know God is going to show up and meet with us face to face, I will never be the same after Sunday, because I believe that God is going to be there in person and in all His Shakina Glory.

Change me oh God, I am an empty vessel waiting to be filled.

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. รพ
